Whether worked in a luxurious silk blend or a sturdy workhorse wool, Bickersstraat has a comfortable, airy texture appropriate for work or play.

Worked from the cuff down in Magic Loop, Bickersstraat is a pattern for that one skein of “treat yourself” sock yarn.

This pattern is inspired by a small street in Amsterdam where I lived as a college student studying art. It is the kind of sock I’d want to wear and show off while riding my bike to class and then slip into my flats later for a visit to the local bar.

You can easily edit this pattern to fit your foot. Although it is written as a mid-calf/ankle sock, you can simply repeat the pattern until the sock is your desired length.
